Cyndee Krantz CPT NASM, Reconditioning Specialist and Pilates Instructor
Cyndee Krantz CPT NASM is a professional trainer with 32 years experience teaching exercise protocols to athletes, seniors, pregnant women, children, and patients with a wide variety of muscular, skeletal and neuromuscular issues.
With Shin Wellness since 2004, Cyndee has worked extensively with private clients and as a Master Trainer with a wide variety of organizations on both coasts, including The Sports Club in San Francisco and Miami. Cyndee has a committed holistic attitude towards wellness, believing that exercise, diet and emotional wellbeing all contribute to an individual’s health. Her relaxed style, perceptive eye, innovative techniques and infinite enthusiasm succeed in motivating many who have been challenged breaking unhealthy habits in the past.
Certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, she specializes in corrective exercise and flexibility, with emphasis on re-aligning posture, core strengthening, and functional training. In addition, Cyndee has extensive training and experience teaching precision cycling, total immersion swimming, pre- and post-natal exercise, yoga, and Pilates.
By working closely with Dr. Gallego and other Shin professionals, and utilizing a wide range of diagnostic tools that include X-Rays and MRI’s, Cyndee draws upon her profound understanding of the human body to identify muscle and skeletal imbalances and develop individual, targeted protocols for each patient. While addressing diet, lifestyle, and occupational deficiencies (how you sit, stand, drive, breathe, etc.), her focus is providing a virtually limitless catalogue of corrective exercises to alleviate pain, improve posture, cultivate core strength, lose weight and develop lean muscle. From the first visit, clients better understand the underlying causes of their pain, learn elementary steps to alleviate it, and develop life-long skills to ensure it does not return. Sourcing techniques from Pilates, Yoga, Foam Rolling (including her famous Tuesday evening class: “Pilates on a Roll!”), weight training and a host of others, her clients are constantly surprised by her versatility, imagination, and ability to make exercise less a chore and more an integral part of a sought-after lifestyle.
