Dr. Harris has found that neurofeedback is an intervention that successfully actualizes the brain-behavior relationship. He combines his experience in clinical psychology and neurofeedback to address client’s concerns in an integrated holistic approach.
Rick A. Harris was awarded his Doctor of Psychology by Nova Southeastern University in 1982. Throughout his 30 years of experience within the mental health field, he has worked in inpatient, outpatient settings with children, adolescents, adults and seniors. From the beginning of his career, Dr. Harris has been interested in the mind-body connection. He conducted research for his dissertation on the psychotherapeutic effects of a body therapy. As a consultant to a National Healthcare Company he developed behavioral medicine programs for cancer, cardiac, GI and primary care patients. He founded Changing Lifestyles a holistic wellness program and Collaborative Healthcare, a program that provided health psychology services within physician practices. As the executive director of the Neuroscience Center he was involved in conducting research and diagnosing brain-behavior relationships. He has taught at the doctoral level and supervised interns and post-doctoral residents.

This approach serves to assist in the enhancement of a client’s cognitive, psychological and physiological well being. As an avid runner he is especially interested in peak performance for those individuals ready to reach their optimum functioning.
